Every piece is engraved from a fingerprint you send us — taken from a photo, a print on paper, or a clay mould.
What we can work with:
- A photo of an inked fingerprint on paper
- A photo of a fingerprint mould or cast
- A scan of a fingerprint card
- Existing fingerprint jewellery you'd like recreated
- Photos taken at funeral homes (these often work, even if you're unsure)
About your fingerprint:
It doesn't need to be perfect. Faint prints, partial prints, slightly smudged ones — we carefully refine every image by hand before engraving, so most come out beautifully on silver.
The only fingerprints we can't use are ones that are completely blurred or where no ridges are visible at all. Everything else, send it — we'll check it and let you know.
Front and back:
Your fingerprint sits on the front. The back is a quiet place for a name, a date, a short message — or coordinates of somewhere meaningful. A small additional charge applies for back engraving.

- Take it off before showering, swimming, or going in the sea
- Avoid contact with perfume, hand cream, hairspray and household cleaners — spray and apply these before putting your necklace on
- Store it somewhere dry, ideally in the pouch it arrives in
- Gentle cleaning at home: a soft cloth is all it usually needs
Tarnishing:
All sterling silver tarnishes over time — that's a natural reaction with the air, not a flaw. Light tarnish lifts off in seconds with a polishing cloth. Heavier tarnish, we'll take care of for you.
