The Celtic Spirit collection brings ancient Celtic knotwork onto a modern hoop tag. Each design is deep-engraved into solid 2mm brass, filled with colour by hand, and polished to a mirror finish in our Essex workshop. The hoop format sits flat against the collar — quieter, less swing, no jingle. The Celtic patterns on the front turn a basic ID tag into something closer to jewellery.

  • Triskele — the three-spiral motif, ancient and bold
  • Trinity knot — clean three-cornered design, often associated with continuity

Every design is paired with our standard hoop layout on the front (three engraving zones for your dog's name, your phone, and a short message), with full address details engraved on the back as required by UK law.

Why Celtic patterns on a dog tag?

Celtic knotwork has a quality most other decorative patterns don't — it reads as both ancient and modern, masculine and feminine, ornate and simple. It works on a Border Collie and a French Bulldog, on a chunky leather collar and a delicate fabric one. It's one of the few decorative styles that doesn't go out of fashion.

We're not the first to make Celtic dog tags. We are the only handmade UK workshop offering a range of Celtic designs on a premium hoop format with hand-applied colour fill — most competitors offer one stamped design on a thin disc, in plain text.
