The hoop (sometimes called a washer) is what we'd put on our own dog if we only had one tag to choose. It sits flat against the collar instead of hanging loose, which means less swinging, less noise, and fewer snags on undergrowth. We make ours from solid 2mm brass, deep-engraved with a 200W laser, and finished by hand in our Essex workshop.
